Contract: docs/contract/components/contents.md in the repository. renderContents(options) renders one root with the mobile bar and the rail; the page adds data-wtk-contents-layout on its <main> and data-wtk-contents-content on the content column, and wtk.js tracks the current item. Legacy-only markup (postToc*, data-blog-toc*) is neither bound nor styled by the package. Every fixture below renders in light and dark; narrow the window under 48em to see the bar.
